Is to help me take my life less seriously, it's only life after all

Up on the watershed, standing at the fork in the road

You can stand there and agonize

Till your agony's your heaviest load.

When you're learning to face the path at your pace

Every choice is worth your while.

Every five years or so I look back on my life

And I have a good laugh.

You start at the top, go full circle round

Catch a breeze, take a spill

But ending up where i started again makes me wanna stand still.

but what it takes to cross the great divide seems more than all the courage i can muster up inside

but we get to have some answers when we reach the other side

 the prize is always worth the rocky ride

but the wood is tired and the wood is old and we'll make it fine if the weather holds

but if the weather holds then we'll have missed the point

that's where i need to go
